BBC Radio One presenter gives Rihanna guff on Twitter

Nick Grimshaw has told the singer to get off Instagram and come in for an interview.

BBC RADIO ONE presented Nick Grimshaw has taken a strange approach to trying to entice Rihanna to appear on his show.

He’s asked her to “turn off Instagram” and be a guest on his BBC Radio One breakfast programme. At first it seemed like maybe Rihanna had pulled out of a scheduled appearance, but it appears now that it may have just been an open invitation.

Grimshaw took over from Chris Moyles after eight-and-a-half years last week, and is setting his sights high in terms of celebrity guests.

Trying to coax Rihanna away from her beloved Instagram might be a tricky task though. She loves nothing more than posting pictures of herself in a variety of poses, her mates, and inspirational quotes.

Every picture she posts is analysed by the media to see if she’s sending a message to Chris Brown, including this one where she appears to have forgotten to put her pants on:
