THE RITUAL OF making a cup of tea is one of life’s most pleasing moments. Dunking the tea bag, adding the milk, getting the colour just right.
Well, this company wants to streamline the whole process, for reasons we cannot quite discern.
No More Tea Bags is an aerosol can of ‘properly brewed tea’, which inventor Guy Woodall claims will solve the problems of messy teabags and poorly-made cuppas.
All you have to do is squirt the foam into a mug, add your hot water and whatever other accoutrements you desire, and boom – you have tea.
Woodall claims the No More Tea Bags cans have a ‘superior taste’ to an ordinary tea bag, and eliminate waiting around for the tea to brew.
You can control the strength or weakness of your tea by adding more or less foam to the cup. (We’re still struggling with the whole ‘foam’ part, personally.)
Unsurprisingly, the innovation has been met with some scepticism.
We’re not sure aerosol tea is going to change a century-old habit, but eh… fair play for trying?
