SO YOU REMEMBER the trusty Nokia 3310.
Famed for its incredible battery life and indestructible nature.
Well, refurbished versions of the classic phone are now on sale for the same price as a smartphone.
French company Lëkki are offering the 3310 in several colours – given a polish and jazzy coat of paint – for €80 each:
In fact one version of the phone – the one with a slick black-and-white paint job – retails on the Lëkki website for no less than €98.
That’s roughly the same price as a prepay Samsung Galaxy Fame smartphone from the Three Ireland website.
It has a 5MP camera, flash, storage for up to 1,000 songs or 2,000 photos, touch screen, FM radio, video calling and a personal wi-fi hotspot.
But it’s not the Nokia, is it?
Of course, you could always try for the best of both worlds:
(You can also pick up an old 3310 on eBay for about €20. Damn hipsters, eh?)
