Northern Ireland culture minister "needs to be careful" on Twitter
NORTHERN IRELAND’S CULTURE Minister has warned herself that she needs to be more “ministerial” when commenting on her Twitter site.
The realisation came to Carál Ní Chuilín – while she was still on Twitter.
After posting a derogatory comment about former Irish minister Michael McDowell, she said she “needed to be careful”.
Here is one of the offending ‘tweets’, which referred to the former justice minister as a “gobshite”:
Despite the ‘realisation’, she did not delete any posts and continued to ‘tweet’ from the account.
