10 of the snarkiest responses to NUIG's 'menstrual cycle' health quiz

Prospective employees are asked about their periods – and Twitter is not impressed.

PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEES of NUI Galway must answer questions about their menstrual cycle in a ‘pre-employment health questionnaire’, reports the Galway City Tribune today.

The questionnaire asks potential staff members if they suffer “any problems with their menstrual cycle” and if they have ever experienced “any breast problems”.

One senior lecturer at NUIG described the questions as “borderline misogynistic” - but the college itself reckons all the questions on the form ensure that someone can “carry out the job without any undue risk to the health and safety of themselves or others at work”.

Well, Twitter is not impressed – and it has offered up some alternative answers to NUIG’s questions.
