These Dublin nuns have just done the holiest ice bucket challenge yet
WE’VE REACHED PEAK ice bucket challenge. If you haven’t been nominated yet, you’ve probably gotten away with it.
The Redemptoristine nuns were so close to avoiding it, but now the sisssters, are doing it for THEMSELVES.
They posted the attempt to their Facebook page, and it’s already been shared over 1,500 times. Dressed in their full habit, the nuns certainly don’t hesitate in lashing the buckets over each other.
Check out the hero with the bowl. No mercy.
The Redemptoristine nuns describe themselves as “an enclosed contemplative community of religious women”, with life “centred around the Liturgy of the Hours, the Eucharist, personal prayer and contemplation.”
… and drenching themselves with ice.
