THIS IS CARA Grace Duggan from Belfast.
Duggan emailed a seller on Gumtree earlier this week about buying a used Nutribullet for her mother, who is currently battling cancer and needs it for her supplements.
The seller was based in London, she she texted him to ask if he would be able to post it to Ireland, explaining why she needed it:
The man responded by saying he was more than happy to post the juicer to Ireland – but that Duggan didn’t need to pay a penny for it.
Then, the kind stranger took it one step further by ordering a brand new Nutribullet to be delivered to Duggan’s local Argos store. “You just need to collect it,” he said.
Duggan told Buzzfeed that she was initially suspicious of the gesture, but sure enough, there it was.
The cynic in me didn’t really believe the Nutribullet would be there until the woman actually handed it across the counter.
Duggan shared her story on Facebook, where it’s amassed thousands of shares.
“It’s just incredible, his gesture was huge, but it’s had an even greater impact than he could have imagined now it’s gone viral,” she told Buzzfeed.
See? People can be really, really nice.
