Why I Love... NYX's Warm Neutrals Palette

This palette is half the price of Naked Heat and is just as good.

LET’S GET ONE thing straight, I know next to nothing about make up. However, I do make a slight exception for eye shadow palettes.

I own pretty much half of the Urban Decay palette range so I’m always on the lookout for something that is just as good, but a little but cheaper.

Step forward NYX and their great dupe of Urban Decay’s ‘Naked Heat’.

Why is this palette so good? Well first of all, it’s tiny which means you can carry it around with you wherever you go. It’s incredibly handy to just whip it out on the bus or in work and touch up your make up if you need to go somewhere later that requires make up.

Also as someone who has been dying their hair red since the age of 15, sometimes I find it hard to find colours that don’t drain my face of colour or clash with my hair.I found that out the hard way when I bought Naked 2 as all the colours were too light and made me look like a corpse.

This palette with hues of brown and red is perfect for everyday life and there’s no clashing to be had.

I can’t live without it because I don’t put much thought into my eyebrows. I just stick some eye shadow into them and hope for the best. This palette is also perfect for this.

It goes on without a bother and the pigment is fantastic. It’s half the price of Naked Heat at just €22.50 from Boots. While it’s missing two of the pigments from the Heat palette, it really is a fab substitute if you can’t bring yourself to spend €50 on it.

So if you’re someone who doesn’t always have time to do make up or puts next to no effort in, this palette is handy one to have in your bag. The colours go with nearly everything and it’s a great tool to have when you need to brighten up your face a little.

And if you like that, their brights palette is also fantastic.
