EARLIER TODAY, RIHANNA tweeted the first official picture from her new movie Ocean’s 8, which shows the singer and her co-stars lounging around a subway carriage.
The film is an all-female reboot of the classic heist flick Ocean’s 11, produced by the star of the Ocean’s Trilogy, George Clooney, and director Steven Soderbergh.
Ocean’s 8 has been getting film fans very excited for a number of reasons, and this promo pic has only fanned the flames. Here’s everything we know about it so far.

The titular ‘eight’ consists of RiRi, Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, and rapper Awkwafina.
So the main cast? Amazing. But the supporting cast is great too – Matt Damon, Damian Lewis and James Corden have all signed on to appear.
A few – Sandra Bullock is playing Debbie Ocean, the sister of Danny Ocean (George Clooney’s character from the previous films) who sets out to steal a valuable necklace from the annual Met Gala.
Matt Damon will reprise his role of con artist Linus Caldwell, while James Corden plays a “insurance broker who begins to grow suspicious” of the gals.
Kim Kardashian, Anna Wintour, and Zayn Malik will all make cameos during the scenes set at the Met Gala:
