Loads of British viewers couldn't understand the O'Donovan brothers' accents on Graham Norton
BBC / YouTube BBC / YouTube / YouTube
LAST NIGHT, SKIBBEREEN’S most beloved sons, Gary and Paul O’Donovan, appeared on Graham Norton’s New Year’s Eve spectacular.
The two rowing extraordinaires, who captures the hearts and minds of people all over the world with their Olympics interviews, were brought out to sit with Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, James MacAvoy and Frank Skinner.
And they killed it.
They brought out the Irish in Michael Fassbender
After ripping the piss out of him, of course.
Whoops!

They cool story bro’d Frank Skinner after he told a rather dull anecdote about going rowing in a posh hotel
Whatever, Frank.
They spread the ‘pull like a dog’ philosophy
While also admitting it’s just a phrase they made up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And they left Marion Cotillard totally bewildered
You know when you’re in a pub and someone’s talking loudly in your ear and you can’t hear a word they’re saying? That was Marion on the couch last night.
But Marion Cotilard wasn’t the only one left a little confused by the West Cork accents - British viewers also struggled to keep up.

Even Irish people weren’t entirely in tune with their accents
By and large, though, they charmed the pants off everyone watching at home
Give them their own show, tbh.
Always doing us proud
Messers. <3
