This guy falling asleep with a pint was the hero of Amy Schumer's Dublin gig
BY ALL ACCOUNTS, Amy Schumer’s gig at Dublin’s 3Arena on Friday night went down a storm with the packed crowd.
She’d already left her mark on the city by leaving a huge tip for a waitress and generally being spotted having the craic about the place.
And yesterday she posted a mini tour diary from the Dublin show – which included some interesting stories
Like the fact that she got sent a personalised card from the U2 lads
But the real hero of the night was a man in the audience, as Amy recounts at the end of the video diary:
“There was one really old guy…”
“And I would look over and he would be dead asleep”
“And then I’d go to make fun of him but he’d wake back up”
“He got up and walked out at one point and I was like ‘where are you going?!’ and he was like ‘to get away from you!’”
Taking no shite at all.
“And then he came back with a beer five minutes later”
Legend.
This guy might even have trumped the signed U2 card in her memories of this particular Dublin gig.
