ORLANDO BLOOM IS currently starring in a new play called Killer Joe, which is performed nightly in London’s Trafalgar Studios.
Tickets are fairly pricey, ranging from £71 – £109 in the middle rows. So even if you weren’t a massive fan of Orlando Bloom, you’d probably want to pay attention, just to ensure you get your money’s worth.
However, not everyone in the audience was glued to what was happening on-stage during Thursday’s performance. According to tweets by theatre critic Mark Shenton, one woman was using her iPad during the production.
Orlando Bloom asked her not once, but twice, to put it away.
Eye-witness account from today’s matinee of @KillerJoePlay: #OrlandoBloom made two unscripted interventions: “I need YOU to put iPad AWAY NOW!” Then again a few mins later: “PUT that fucking IPad away now and I will wait”. pic.twitter.com/WZ4ybgKexJ

Other witnesses praised Orlando for calling the woman out.
Saw the matinee performance of Killer Joe with Orlando Bloom this afternoon. Brilliant performances all round and well done to Mr Bloom for publicly rebuking the woman in the audience trying to film him on her iPad, and then smoothly continuing with the show @KillerJoePlay

However, some people were defending the iPad user.
It turns out she actually had a fan plugged into the USB port of her iPad, which she was using to cool herself down while she was watching the show.
I was sat behind and although it would have looked bad, in her defence she was only using it for her fan as the auditorium was roasting! #preshowpic pic.twitter.com/TAwSWLRT4b

Some pointed out that a fan is just as distracting as using an iPad.
An electric fan is probably just as distracting for the other people in the audience who paid good money to be there

In fairness to the woman, it was like 30°C in London yesterday.
