JIMMY KIMMEL MUST have been a tad bored hosting the Oscars tonight.
He addressed #Envelopegate, Me Too, and pay inequality in his topical opening monologue.
But then he decided to leave.
Jimmy took a bunch of audience members including Armie Hammer, Margot Robbie, Ansel Elgort, Gal Gadot, Lupita Nyong’o and Mark Hamill to surprise the audience in a nearby cinema as they watched A Wrinkle in Time.
They were pretty shocked, to say the least. But hey, it was all to thank them for being such loyal movie fans.
Jimmy commented that the place smelled like marijuana, and Gal Gadot was quick to agree.
This is so much better than the Oscars!
Lucky so, that they brought snacks.
A massive sub, a hotdog machine, and other assorted snacks were handed out to shocked cinema-goers
