But hot on their heels are surely the Australian snacks that tasted so good over there on the other side of the world.
Now, an Irish-Australian woman has revealed plans to import Tim Tams first, followed by the likes of Arnott’s Shapes, Cadbury Caramello Koalas, Cherry Ripes and Allen’s Freckles.
Anyone who wants to be reunited with their beloved treats can order through the Aussiebites website. The additional From Oz With Love service will allow customers to request products not currently in stock. If they can source it, they’ll ship it to you, and popular requests will be added to the store permantly.
Aussiebites is the brainchild of Jeanette McKee, who returned to Ireland several years ago but “never lost the love for Australian food”.
