Paris Hilton has released a line of hair styling products with Lidl. (Yes, that cheap German supermarket we all know and love.) The socialite announced the collaboration on Twitter last night and wrote, “I’m excited to share my new collection from @lidl with you!”
Michael Fassbender doesn’t have an Irish passport. The actor, whose mother is Irish and father is German, told Time Out London that he hasn’t gotten his mitts on an Irish passport just yet.
‘I’ve actually got a German passport! I’ve been meaning to get an Irish passport for years and just never got around to it.
We can understand. All that paperwork is annoying.
Fassbender also told the magazine that he was “gutted” by the UK’s decision to leave the European Union and lamented what it might mean for future generations.
The thing I love about London is the mix: the mix of all the different cultures and religious backgrounds. That’s what inspires me. For the next generation, the idea that if I had a son or a nephew they could easily go and work abroad like that, the ease of movement through Europe – that alone was worth staying in the EU for.
