Hey Paris, that is not a Christmas tree, that is a giant green butt plug
ARTIST PAUL MC Carthy is trolling an entire city.
His art installation ‘tree’ has been unveiled at Place Vendome in Paris, presumably designed to look a little like a giant Christmas tree.
Nobody came down in the last shower though:

McCarthy has form in this area.
He installed this at a museum in Antwerp in 2007:

In 2013 he installed a pile of poo in Hong Kong, calling it ‘Complex Pile’:
‘Tree’, which is part of the FIAC art fair, will remain in place at Place Vendome until the middle of November.
