Man pays parking ticket with 5c coins
THIS AUSTRALIAN MAN clearly wasn’t happy about paying a parking fine when he arrived at his local city council office in Adelaide earlier this month.
He was prepared to pay the $60 fine, but only in 5c coins. That’s 1,200 coins, maths fans.
Needless to say, the clerk was not impressed.
He seems like kind of a jerk, eh?
As it turns out, though, the joke is on him. According to news.com.au, Australian law dictates that fines over $5 can not be paid in 5c coins.
Nice try, buddy.
