A POST MORTEM on the death of Peaches Geldof was inconclusive, police have said.
Toxicology tests will now be conducted in an attempt to determine what killed the 25-year-old mother of two.
Kent Police said this toxicology report could take several weeks to complete.
According to the BBC, Kent County Council have confirmed that the results of the post-mortem could lead to a full inquest into the circumstances surrounding Geldof’s death.
The mother of two and media personality was found at her home near Wrotham in Kent, south-east England on Monday afternoon.
Police were called to the residence at the time but paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. Her death is being treated as “unexplained and sudden” but non-suspicious.
The post mortem was carried out at a hospital in nearby Dartford.
Yesterday, President Michael D Higgins released a statement extending his “deepest sympathies” to Bob Geldof and his family on Peaches’ sudden and untimely death.
