Poll: Do you generally apply the 'day' and 'night' perfume rule?
I WAS RECENTLY confronted with a question which confirmed that I will always fall a little short when it comes to certain areas regarding cosmetics, beauty and grooming.

It was about perfume – and not whether I favoured floral fragrances over woody musks – but whether I had ever accidentally mixed up my ‘day’ and ‘night’ stash.
Based on the tone in which the question was delivered and the facial expression which accompanied it, I surmised that this particular ‘error’ was not something to shout from the rooftops. Well, not if the person posing it had any say in the matter.
Now listen, I had, of course, heard of the concept, but I didn’t think it was a rule to live and die by.
I have many much-loved fragrances, I rarely leave home without applying some, and I can identify various perfumes from a distance, but ‘day’ and ‘night’? Nah.
So, let’s put it to you; do you have ‘day’ and ‘night’ perfume, and do you wear them accordingly?
