Passion and hard work: Pixar filmmaker's inspirational letter to kids
Pixar keeps finding new ways to tug at heartstrings.
A letter just popped up online at Movies.com, written by Pixar filmmaker Pete Docter (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Up”) in which he encourages middle schoolers (students between the ages of 11-14) not to give up on their dreams and do what they love.
This is the transcript (we’d suggest clicking through to Movies.com to see the cool drawings Docter put on the actual letter).
In case you needed more convincing of what an awesome person Docter is, check out this other handwritten letter the director wrote to a fan, as featured on Letters of Note.
