LET’S BE HONEST, when word landed that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson had gotten engaged after a three-week relationship, folk were a little skeptical.

We mean, in the words of Chandler Bing, we’ve had cartons of milk in our fridge that we’ve had longer relationships with.

But, to be fair, it actually sounds like Pete himself is equally as stunned by developments.

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the comedian sounded like he literally couldn’t believe his luck on the relationship front.

Pete, who is a cast member on Saturday Night Live, admitted that randomers have given him the nod since the engagement was confirmed.

In fact, the 24-year-old revealed that the pairing has given hopeful romantics a burst of optimism – something which initially made Peter feel like his fiancée may be, you know, out of his league.
