Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage to play foulmouthed leprechaun in new comedy
TYRION LANNISTER FROM Game of Thrones is set to join a so-far untitled comedy where he’ll apparently play a man who attempts to convince people that he’s a real life leprechaun.
The project, picked up by Paramount, is said to be an r-rated ‘adult’ comedy with ‘an emotional heart’, according to Hollywood Reporter.
It will be similar to the tone of Bad Santa and Bad Words–a film about a profanity ridden spelling bee–and will see the same writer joining Dinklage’s leprechaun project, Andrew Dodge.
Dinklage has shown himself perfectly qualified for the role, having played a dwarf in Chronicles of Narnia, showed his perfect comedic timing in Death of a Funeral, all mixed with Lannister’s Game of Throne’s depravity.
Let’s hope it’s a step up from ‘Leprechaun’, for everyones sake:
