Thousands have signed a petition to ban people from piercing their kids’ ears

A PETITION IN the UK has gone super viral this week – and it’s all about whether parents should be allowed to pierce their children’s ears.
The controversy started because of the Channel 5 show Blinging Up Baby – a programme where parents in the UK dress their children in high fashion clothes with other accessories to go with them.

Last week’s episode saw one mother piercing her four-month-old baby’s ears – and understandably some people were very upset:
So, on the back of this controversy, somebody set up a petition to have the activity banned in the UK.
It’s already been signed by over 34000 people and its aim is to:
38degrees 38degrees
Of course, this is winning widespread support following the Blinging Up Baby episode. But there are also those that don’t really see it as an issue:
