Here's what Pharrell Williams said about women that has Twitter swooning

So. Smooth.

PHARRELL WILLIAMS appeared on Alan Carr: Chatty Man last night.

He was asked about his views on women, and female beauty. And he said:

There’s a statuesque standard around the world, where you got to be thin, you got to have blue eyes. But I think if you’re just female, you’re beautiful to begin with.

My thing is, that what makes you different is that what makes you special. So I love it when you are super dark, I love it when you are super light, I love it when you’re heavy, I love it when you’re skinny, I love it when you’re just you.

And then, the clincher:

Twitter didn’t know WHAT to do with itself.

However, not a few people suggested that his role in Blurred Lines makes Pharrell (at best) ineligible to talk about treating women properly:

Hmm.
