THINGS LOOK VERY different at night. The darkness can hide imperfections and flatter appearances. (There’s a reason nightclubs are dark.)
But night lighting can also give us a completely different perspective on everyday sights – making the familiar strange, and forcing us to look at the world in a new way.
Photographer Conor Blundell set out to capture Dublin’s streets by night. The results of his work, called Dublin Lights, are on display as part of the PhotoIreland Festival 2012, in Brannigan’s Bar on Cathedral Street, Dublin 1.
