GIVEN HIS LIMITED role, Prince Charles of Wales isn’t a particularly newsworthy figure for people across Ireland.

For shame.

Because he sure is good at a photocall. And we’ve already provided the proof that he and Camilla are just great craic altogether.

This year has seen the continued revival of the royal family across the water, with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the younger members’ successful outings as ambassadors for the London Olympics.

Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, didn’t let the side down either with their popularity soaring in every country they visited. Probably because neither are afraid to try anything once.

So if tuning across to the Beeb for a gander at QEII’s Christmas Day speech right now isn’t for you, you might enjoy this instead:
