POLICE IN SHELBY Township, Michigan recently had to apprehend a pig that was running wild in the area – but why does he look so happy about being ‘arrested’?

According to 7 Action News, a local woman was doing some gardening in her front yard when the escaped pig came running towards her.

Not knowing what to do about it, she called the police, who arrived and put the animal in the back of the squad car.
Bad idea.
Poo EVERYWHERE.
The police reunited the pig with its owner, who reportedly cleaned up the police car before taking the animal home.
The phrase ‘happy as a pig in shite’ has never been more apt.
