Papa John's "investigating" bin overflowing with mysterious pizza dough
IT SOUNDS LIKE a plot from a 1950s sci-fi film come to life: a mysterious gooey substance, appearing out of nowhere, slowly taking over a city.
Yesterday Twitter user Ailsa Burn-Murdoch shared a photo of what can only be described as a dough monster emerging from a bin in Edinburgh.

According to The Scotsman, the bin is used by the local Papa John’s franchise, who haven’t yet offered any explanation for the gooey mess.
A spokesperson later responded to Burn-Murdoch on Twitter, saying the company was “investigating” the dough-splosion.
But seriously – how did this happen? How did they get it in the bin? Why did they make so much dough in the first place? THERE ARE TOO MANY QUESTIONS.
