A LOT OF people aren’t comfortable with flying, so might have a drink, take a pill, or just bring a comforting blanket on board with them to ease the nerves.
One woman flying out of Conneticut on Wednesday brought something a little more extreme… a pig. But not just any old pig, an ‘emotional support pig’.
According to ABC News, a US Airways flight refused to take off with the pig on board, which was carried on by the woman holding it on a lead. Parent company American Airways confirmed that the pig had been brought on as ‘emotional support’ but the woman was asked to leave after the pig became disruptive–reportedly squealing and defecating in the aisles.
As the animal was classified as emotional support, it would have been allowed fly, had it behaved. Yes, and you still can’t bring on that travel-sized hairspray.
