PLAY: Rose of Tralee Bingo 2012

The Daily Edge will be live-blogging the festival’s centre piece tonight and tomorrow. Why not join in the fun with a round of Rose of Tralee Bingo?

IT’S ALMOST TIME…the 53rd annual Rose of Tralee festival climaxes tonight with the announcement of the tiara-wearing winner.

Dáithí Ó Sé will question the remaining 14 Roses before asking them to perform a talent but if that’s not enough to keep you entertained this evening, we’ve created a game so you can join in as we live-blog the whole three-and-a-half hour show*.

So free, fun and just for you, it’s TheJournal.ie’s Rose of Tralee Bingo. You know the rules: gather your nearest and dearest around, watch the action, take a card each and aim to complete a line.

The first to shout ‘BINGO’ is the Rose of Tralee champion player for 2012, which will be almost as fulfilling as picking the eventual winner. Unfortunately, we have no tiara to offer our winners.

Enjoy!

Note: The Daily Edge does not endorse using the following suggestions as rules for a drinking game.

*There is a break for the Nine O’Clock News but I’ve forgone an invitation to the TheJournal.ie annual BBQ, to keep you updated of events in the Dome while Eileen Dunne (probably) keeps you informed of all the day’s other news.
