PERHAPS THE MOST popular meme of August, the ‘girlfriend vs. other girlfriend’ meme is a simple stock photo that has been re-purposed to express so much more than it ever could have if it had only been used as intended.

It uses this stock photo of a guy caught checking out a woman that looks the exact same as his girlfriend.

Twitter user @Oranforest delved deep into the world of stock images and found out that this story has a more beautiful ending than we ever could have dreamt of.

The stock photo models continued their shoot elsewhere. The male character remained as insensitive and disinterested in his partner as always.
