IMAGINE THE SCENE.

You have yourself a bunch of 2014 calendars (already?) featuring Pope Benedict XVI (we’re confused too).

You have one very big problem, however – he’s retiring tomorrow.

A problem, we should say, to most people. For this Adverts.ie seller, there is no such problem… he hopes.

Selling a “2014 calendar of Pope Benedict XVI who will not be pope in 2014,” bigbang1 wants potential buyers to rest assured.

This will be a rare item in years to come.

Who are we to say he’s wrong. We’ll take 1,000.
