FOLLOWING AN EMERGENCY landing in New York Stewart International Airport last night, Post Malone has taken to Twitter to assure fans he is safe and well.
Oh, and he’s also sent a big ‘f*ck you’ to people who seemed to rejoice in the incident.
The Rockstar rapper was bound for Luton when the private jet he was travelling on was forced to make an emergency landing when two of its tyres exploded during takeoff from New Jersey’s Teterboro airport.
The performer, who is due to appear at Reading and Leeds music festival this weekend, posted a short message on Twitter in the aftermath of the event.
i landed guys. thank you for your prayers. can't believe how many people wished death on me on this website. fuck you. but not today

The impact the incident had on Malone is evident in a conversation he had with a TMZ reporter on Facetime upon finally landing.
Sounding understandably emotional, the 23-year-old said:
Oh my God I hate flying in general and oh, I don’t even know what to say man. I’m shook.
Paying tribute to everyone who contributed to the aircraft’s safe landing, he added:
There’s one hell of a team on that aircraft and we’re here, and we’re here on Earth, and I need a beer and some wine at the same time mixed together.
The rapper’s fans expressed disbelief at the negative remarks which were made following reports that the performer’s plane, which was carrying 16 people, had gotten into difficulty.
I was in shock seeing all the negativity.. but glad you’re okay man 🙏🏻

Happy you and everyone else are safe, man 🙏 And people expressing that level of hate aren't even worth a thought.
