Here's a sneak peek at the Electric Picnic site!

There are seats in front of the main stage. SEATS!

THE BUILD IS almost complete, the portaloos lined up and the gates prepped for opening.

The Electric Picnic 2013 takes place this weekend in Stradbally, with headliners Arctic Monkeys, Bjork and Fatboy Slim set to thrill a full capacity festival of an estimated 35,000 people.

An interesting addition to the main stage this year is new tiered seating available for when those feet get tired and the energy drops. There’s not a bad view from them either.

The site doesn’t officially open until 9am on Friday, but we got a sneak peek of the final preparations today.
