According to the magazine’s editor, the man and his girlfriend are staying in a hotel, and is expected to surprise her with the paper
James met his girlfriend Katie when she was living in New York, and they had only spent about three weeks together over the course of a year when they eventually moved in together in 2014.
The pair live in London now, and lo and behold, Nicoll tweeted that Katie said YES

At least it’s a step up from the Daily Mail’s side bar of shame proposal.
