SIX-MONTH-OLD Golden Retriever Wesley is a happy little pup – but he’s had some teething problems ever since he was born.
Lucilky for him and his owner Molly, a pet dentist in the US has been looking after him well.
And this week they gave him braces, and they are adorable
The Harbourfront Hospital For Animals posted Wesley’s story on Facebook – and it’s completely blown up.
When people hear that Dr. Moore is a “doggie dentist,” they immediately say things like: “What? Does he put braces on dogs, too?”
The answer is . . . yes. Yes, he does.
And the results are excellent
Molly told Buzzfeed why the braces were necessary:
Once his adult teeth started coming out, we noticed they were coming in wrong and he was unable to close his mouth fully.
He wasn’t playing with his toys and he was losing weight. It was very worrying for me, and we needed to do something for him to be pain free and live a happy puppy life.
And he only has to wear the braces for a few weeks for them to fix everything up.
Here he is, looking forward to years of happy chewing ahead of him
