Family saves puppy with jug stuck on its head for two months
A STRAY PUPPY with a plastic jug stuck on its head for two months has finally been rescued.
A family in the Houston, Texas area spotted the dog running around their property for weeks.
The jug, which was open on both ends, was part of a pet feeder in Audra Bohannon’s barn. She believes the dog they call Bucky, short for bucket, got stuck while seeking food.
KPRC-TV reports that they tried and failed every day for two months to catch the puppy, finally gaining its trust and managing to free it. It had managed to eat but only small amounts and was flea infested.
Bucky will now live permanently with the Bohannon family.
