Would you like to help fund a documentary about Panti Bliss?

Here’s how you can.

A FUNDRAISER HAS been launched to raise money to complete a documentary about performer and LGBT activist Panti Bliss.

Directed by Conor Horgan and produced by Dublin-based production company Bl!nder Films, The Queen of Ireland will follow Rory O’Neill aka Panti following the fallout from Pantigate, which saw him catapulted from performer to international phenomenon.

(Horgan was responsible for filming Panti’s Noble Call, which went viral and has been viewed over 643,000 since it was uploaded in February.)

The production team have been shooting Panti intermittently over the past few years, but are now looking for €50,000 to complete the project.

They explain:

This will allow us to continue filming with Rory / Panti over the next few months, as well as allowing us to edit, research, get rights to use archive, music, and everything else we need to make the film.  We plan to raise matching funds, so YOUR contributions will help us make this the best film possible.

There are a number of gift packages available for donors, all rather entertainingly titled thing like “the padded panty,” “the hip and butt booster” and “the uplifting body shaper”.
