The Queer Eye cast visited the town of Yass and were crowned 'Yass Queens' by the mayor

The sheer effort they went to for the pun should be respected.

THE TOWN OF Yass, Australia isn’t really known for much. It’s located about 50 miles from the country’s capital Canberra and has a population of roughly 6,500 people and according to one of these locals ‘nothing much happens’. It sounds like Kildare.

Well now Yass is known for the coronation of 5 ‘Yass Queens’ and it’s been made official by the town’s mayor.

The Fab 5 were in the town to do some filming for a short episode that’s going to air before the second season which will be released on Netflix on June 15th.  The episode will focus on local farmer George who will be made over by the guys.

The guys were absolutely delighted with being made official queens and wore their new tiaras and titles with pride at George’s unveiling in the town later that night.

There are a number of things to be admired here. First of all the sheer trek the guys undertook just so they could say they went to Yass is commendable and should be respected.

Secondly the mayor for Karamo’s lusting for her chain. The bling is very much hers and we respect her for that. Also how adorable is Jonathan in this? He got his very own Yass Queen and we’re here for it.

What a wholesome world we live in.
