Dublin man proposes to his girlfriend live on morning radio
IAN RAESIDE FROM Swords proposed to his girlfriend live on the radio yesterday morning.
The pair were both in the studio at Spin 103.8 to play a competition. It came after his partner, Rachael Quann, had announced a rather special something to her friends, family and Dublin in general.
But it didn’t end there.
In the competition, Rachael had to come up with words after they were described by presenters Ryan Phillips and Tracy Clifford.
They were all strangely wedding-themed. Then came the last question: “What is something that someone gets down on, when they want to ask to marry you?”
That was Ian’s cue.
Then he asked the question, live on city radio.
The news had some listeners in a bit of a heap:
