TRIBUTES HAVE BEEN pouring in all week following the death of Munster and Ireland rugby legend Anthony Foley last weekend.
Today, his funeral is being held in Killaloe, where thousands are expected to line the streets of his hometown.
And at midday, radio stations around the country played The Fields of Athenry simultaneously in tribute

From national radio stations to local, so many joined in the #FieldsForFoley tribute
It was an emotional moment for so many listening
It was a fitting tribute to a man who had often brought the country together in the green and red jerseys
For a couple of minutes, the radio stations brought everyone listening together in mourning
And they chose the most appropriate song as well
RIP Axel.
