Residents of a Donegal village have banded together to save up for Christmas lights
THE RESIDENTS OF Rathmullan, a small seaside village on the Fanad peninsula in Donegal might be celebrating Easter today, but they’ve also got Christmas on the brain.
A project called Light Up Rathmullan is asking residents to help the “little village to shine bright this Christmas” by collecting saving stamps.
Stamps and booklets are being sold throughout the village and those who return their completed booklets later this year will be entered into a draw for prizes like vouchers, coal and hampers.
