TWO OF THE world’s best-known award ceremonies took place yesterday; the Grammys and the Baftas.
A-listers flocked to Staples Centre in Los Angeles for the music awards while those attending the Baftas in London gathered at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the world of television and film.
Naturally, all eyes were on the red carpet ensembles, in both LA and London, and we want your feedback.
So, let’s kick off by talking Grammy get-up, which – unsurprisingly – was all about the drama.
Cardi B
The Bodak Yellow singer rocked a couture gown by Mugler, which dates back to the mid 90s.
Kylie Jenner
Kylie attended her first ever Grammys in a jumpsuit by Balmain.
Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer’s Couture Ralph & Russo might not be for everyone, to be fair.
Janelle Monae
Janelle, who wore Jean Paul Gaultier, was nominated for Album of the Year, but lost out out to Kacey Musgraves.
Katy Perry
Like Kylie, Katy also opted for Balmain.
Now let’s turn our attention to the Baftas.
While a little more demure than its counterpart in the States, the London event wasn’t without its more peculiar designs.
So, without further ado…
Margot Robbie
We’ll be frank, Margot’s Chanel has divided people.
Edith Bowman
Edith teamed broderie anglais with leather gloves for last night’s event.
Zawe Ashton
Thoughts on Zawe Ashton’s electric pink by Roksanda?
Rachel Weisz
Rachel went for layered tulle by Gucci, and took home a gong for her role in The Favourite.
Rachel Brosnahan
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress opted for a gown by Erdem last night.
OK, now for the hard part; which of the 10 looks would you wear?
