People have been camping out to audition for TV3's new soap

They REALLY want a role.

CASTING FOR TV3′s brand new soap Red Rock kicks off today. Hopeful auditionees are doing everything in their power to ensure they’re the next Alfie Moon or Gail Platt, even camping outside to secure an audition.

Xpose posted the photo to their Twitter page, saying “We’ve got people camping out at the open casting of TV3′s new soap”.

Dedication.

Auditions are taking place in the John Player Factory in Dublin today and the queues are already stretching down the street.

Spirits are high, however, even if some are a bit tired.

Casting director Louise Kiely did advise hopefuls to get down early as only 500 will be seen in Dublin today, with 300 more auditioned at sessions in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Belfast over the coming weeks.

Not a whole lot is known about the new soap yet, only that it will be set in a North side Dublin coastal town.
