8 of Dublin's most laughable rental properties

“Country girls only”.

1. This bedroom/sitting room/kitchen in Rathmines

This one’s been getting a lot of backs up in the past few days with the photo below removed and the price dropped from €650 to €495.

Hey, at least you could pretty much wash the dishes while in bed, eh?

2. This Phibsborough intellectual hub

Advertised at the end of last year, you could only move into this gaff if you had a college degree.

Last time we checked they don’t teach you how to clean hair out of the drains or not get toast crumbs in the butter in college.

Who doesn’t like to wake up to this?

4. A country girl’s oasis in Glasnevin

No no city slickers, back away with your sushi and your craft beers. This is for country folk only.

5. Sharing a bed in a studio for €320 a month

Not only are you asked to share the bed in this one room palace, there’s also a stipulation that ‘serious girls’ only need apply.

Whimper.

6. This Bolton street double bed

This ad for a bed (not a room mind, a bed) in a flat on Bolton St stipulated that it was for girls only, and only girls who were willing to share a bed and pay €220 each per month for the pleasure.

This space is available for people who are ok to share double bed with another room mate. This could be a roommate of your choice, for example your sister. If you dont know a second person yet, but you are ok with this idea please also contact me.

7. This Harry Potter situation

8. “Bedroom close to the bathroom” in Dublin 2

We’ll say! The bedroom is on TOP of the bathroom.

But hey, at least you won’t be lonely. It’s a bedroom for two! So cosy.
