Rihanna couldn't hold her peace when a makeup company tried to compete with her 40 shades... it's The Dredge
EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.
Rihanna couldn’t help but drop a comment on Makeup Forever’s Instagram after they made a post referencing her new shades of foundation.
Rihanna made it very clear when she launched Fenty Beauty that the cosmetics line would be inclusive of as many people as possible.
Rihanna told fans she had to represent for her girls, who come in all shades. She kept that promise and created 40 shades that include everyone, including POC and people with albinism. The response to Fenty Beauty was very positive. So positive, that beauty companies are clamoring to hire black women all of a sudden.
Now that Rihanna has made a point of being inclusive, companies are starting to compete over who was inclusive the longest. Makeup Forever captioned one of their latest Instagram posts with “40 shades is nothing new to us”. So Rihanna nonchalantly hit back at them.
Fans saw the reply almost immediately and left their own comments of praise for Fenty Beauty. Bit of a self-own, Makeup Forever. (Teen Vogue)
Azealia Banks has lashed out at Cardi B (who yesterday broke records when her debut single was ranked number 1 by Billboard), calling her a poor man’s Nicki Minaj’.
Azealia Banks is an extremely talented woman, but there’s no denying that she’s known for showing up and offering her opinions at the most inopportune times. While Cardi B is relishing her success and being congratulated by pretty much every single iconic female in hip hop, Azealia decides it’s time to step in and have her say.
In tweets that are now deleted, Azealia called Cardi a ‘poor mans Nicki’ (sic). Nicki Minaj doesn’t seem to think so, since she congratulated Cardi on her achievement yesterday.

Kim Kardashian has made her first response acknowledging the rumours about Kylie’s pregnancy.
If there’s one story nobody can escape from this week, it’s the sheer number of Kardashian babies that are on the way. Harper’s Bazaar posted a story in which they claimed sources told them that Kim did not respond well to the news of Kylie’s pregnancy.
They then went on to tweet the story with the caption ‘This sounds like avery awkward conversation…’ and Kim quoted the tweet to add her own caption.
That’s them told. (Goss.ie)
And the rest of the day’s dirt…
