Will Robbie Williams sell 52k tickets for the Aviva Stadium?
Updated 12.10pm
*The capacity of the Aviva is 52k, not 65k as previously reported. Less people to push past to get closer to Robbie.
WELL, IT LOOKS like Robbie Williams is back.
At his zenith he sold out Slane Castle in 1999 and the gig was broadcast live on Sky One.
Now the former Take That singer has announced a headline show at the 52,000 capacity Aviva Stadium this June, 14 June to be exact.
Olly Murs will be supporting Robbie at the Aviva, and tickets go on sale next Thursday at 8am priced €69.50.
Williams played at the Brits last night, singing his recent single Candy.
Let’s take a nostalgic look back at that performance from Slane in 1999. Not bad for the man Noel Gallagher once referred to as “the fat dancer from Take That”…

Has Robbie Williams made a big enough comeback (his fourth or fifth comeback at this stage, surely) to sell 52,000 tickets?
Will you be going?
