NETFLIX HAVE BEEN doing loads of little promotion-y bits with Robert Sheehan to, y’know, promote his new series The Umbrella Academy.

As well as being presented with the most Irish take on Sophie’s Choice, he spent some time on the London underground with co-star Tom Hopper.

Between takes of them chatting absolute shite (not even being shady, the streaming giant says it themselves), the pair discussed how they were both cast in the hit series.

Tom explained that he never went through a formal audition process, but sent in a tape instead. Robert, meanwhile …

Intriguing.

Asked what their most boring skill that they could potentially pass off as a superpower is, both agreed that Rob can “improve like a beast”.

… Which later made sense during his interaction with a dog owner.

The pair also discussed the infamous dance scene from the series, in which it was revealed that Rob shot his first on the very first day of filming.

‘Dance like no one’s watching! And also meet all of these new people’.

I feel like they had to edit me down in the show because I sort of over-compensated as a result of being nervous.”

The only natural transition then was to partaking in some flossing – the kind that’s only slightly more acceptable to do on public transport.

Robert Sheehan – coming to a Dublin Bus near you? Unlikely, TBH. Robert Sheehan – star of the next installment of the Step Up franchise? More likely, judging from this performance.
