4 Stages of Ronan Keating's Reaction to his Album Selling 181 Copies
I THINK WE all remember the video to Ronan Keating’s new single Fires. He acted! He cried! He ran! It was emotional.
Well, now the accompanying album, also named Fires, has been released.
Sadly it seems to have failed to ignite the same high passion among listeners, selling just 181 copies in its first few days, according to the Irish Daily Mail.
Luckily, Ronan isn’t the fresh-faced, thin-skinned boyband newbie he once was. No, he’s in a manband now. So he can rise above the petty stuff.
His reaction happened in four stages, according to the Kübler-Ross model of grief management:
1. Denial
2. Bargaining
3. Anger
4. Acceptance
Perhaps the real story here is that selling 181 albums is now enough to get you to 13th place in the Irish midweek charts. Hmm.
