What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Room to Improve (RTE 1, 9.30pm)

Isn’t it just great having Room to Improve back? Ease yourself out of the snowday fun with Christine, an IT manager in North Dublin. She’s Dermot’s latest client and doesn’t seem to be a handful at all. Oh no, hold on, she has a 25-page wish list and a budget that will have to be stretched to the absolute limit.

Mamma Mia! (RTE 2, 9.30pm)

If Room to Improve isn’t your thing, maybe musicals are? I don’t think any of us were prepared for how bad this movie adaptation of the musical would be, but it’s become so bad that it’s almost good now. Sing along and forget you have to go to work tomorrow.

Dancing With the Stars (RTE 1, 6.30pm)

After Marty Morrissey got kicked off last week, there’ll be a void. The remaining six couples battle for a place in next week’s quarter finals.

Everyone’s talking about… SNL

The American sketch show returned last night with Charles Barkley hosting and Migos performing.

Of course, Alec Baldwin returned to take the piss out of Trump in the cold opening.

Saturday Night Live / YouTube

Check out all the sketches here, they include the harassment Oscars and Hump or Dump.

Homeland (Channel 4, 9pm) The drama continues with a new episode.

Captain America, The First Avenger (e4, 6.30pm) Action hero adventure with Chris Evans.
